Children should be taught to respect themselves along with others and understand that honesty and integrity will take them through life with happiness and dignity. Manners, compassion, kindness, cooperation, and tolerance are the foundation for helping a child be a positive and happy individual as they grow older. They will learn these things in a safe, secure and caring environment. These attributes and qualities will be modeled and gently taught through the years and in stages appropriate for the child's age and development. Early years are the foundation to the rest of your child's life, these values are a solid first platform to build upon.
There is a garden in every childhood,
an enchanted place where colors are brighter,
the air softer,
and the morning more fragrant than ever again.
